Welcome... to the official website of Southern California's own Jack McAfee.  From his early beginnings running a "souped up" Ford Model T to eventually road racing exotic V12 Ferraris, McAfee's career with cars was substantial by any measuring stick.

Behind the wheel, Jack experienced some of the greatest adventures in road racing including the Carrera Panamericana, the 1000km of Nurburgring, and the 12 hours of Sebring.  His "drive to finish" style helped him earn the 1956 SCCA National class F championship driving a Porsche 550 spyder (the first US title for a Porsche).  Other accomplishments included SCCA West Coast titles in 1951, 1958, and 1961.

Perhaps equally as important is what Jack achieved off the track; a self-made man whose good hearted nature added to the lives of those around him. As his son, it is a pleasure to share some of these wonderful images and stories with you, and I look forward to hearing your own stories about the man some called “Jack the Bear”.

Sincerely,

Rex McAfee
