Welcome... to the official website of Jack McAfee. On March 10th 2007, Southern California lost a true sports car legend when Jack passed away due to pancreatic cancer. Behind the wheel, Jack experienced some of the greatest adventures in road racing including the Carrera Panamericana, the 1000km of Nurburgring, and the 12 hours of Sebring. His "drive to finish" style helped him earn the 1956 SCCA National class F championship driving a Porsche 550 spyder. Other accomplishments included SCCA West Coast titles in 1951, 1958, and 1961.

Perhaps equally as important is what he achieved off the track; a self-made man whose good hearted soul never left an enemy in its wake. As his son, it is a pleasure to share some of these wonderful images and stories with you, and I look forward to hearing some of your own stories about the man some called “Jack the Bear”.
Sincerely,
Rex McAfee
